Yoorim Ko (Korchive) is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York and New Jersey. Working across painting, drawing, installation, and mixed media, she explores internal landscapes shaped by emotion, memory, and subconscious experience. Her practice examines the tension between surface and inscape, tracing how inner sensations and accumulated experiences transform through color, gesture, and material. Through layered mark-making, material experimentation, and hand-stitching, Ko approaches the canvas as a flexible, evolving structure that extends beyond the picture plane, revealing the ongoing processes of change, connection, and transformation. She received her BFA from Seoul National University of Science and Technology and her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York.
