Jeenho Seo, a South Korean-born artist (b. 1989) based between Brooklyn and Seoul, is a well-established sculptor whose multidisciplinary practice bridges traditional East Asian aesthetics and contemporary spatial inquiry. A graduate of Yale University's MFA Sculpture program (2021) and Hongik University (BFA in Sculpture and East Asian Painting), Seo has presented solo exhibitions at Subtitled NYC and Backyard Ghost in Brooklyn, and at Gallery H in Seoul and will hold a solo exhibition of “Finding Home in Junction” at Art Pan Gallery in New Jersey in June this year.
His work—featured in institutions like the Japan Society, Museum of Chosun Ilbo, and High Line Nine—blends sculpture, performance, and conceptual installation, engaging viewers in meditations on presence, decision-making, and material agency. With recognition from VOGUE, Arte Fuse, and The Korea Times, as well as teaching engagements at Pratt Institute, UCLA, and Columbia University, Seo continues to shape contemporary sculpture as both a form of critical inquiry and poetic form.
